honestly, before you even think about performing a set, you should hit up open mics and build your name and stage show up.
nobody is going to stick around to watch someone they've never seen perform for 15mins songs they've never heard. i know i'm not.

so some open mics are:
Sundays at Tanqueray's downtown orlando
HIPHOP Lounge on the last wednesday of every month downtown winter park (last night was crazy!!)
